Avon Dassett Parish Council has decided to reduce the frequency of formal meetings, but at the same time will, as deemed appropriate, introduce a  number of small working groups which have as members Councillors and where appropriate local residents.

The Avon Dassett Parish Plan identifed a number of initatives that we will need the help of local residents to deliver, and we will where appropriate form working groups to progress some of these.

Each working group, when formed, will have a formal Terms of Reference to ensure that there is structure and clearly defined aims and deliverable. These Terms of Reference once formally agreed will be made available on the Parish Council website.

Avon Dassett Parish Council's Projects Steering Group was implemented in July 2022 .

The adopted Terms of Reference are available below together with an updated version in draft format which is for approval at the Parish Council's May 2023 meetings. The updated version takes into account the need to ensure that all projects are considered in a consistent manner and where they are are submitted by residents for consideration they are sent to the clerk who will then, after an initial review send them to the Projects Group for their consideration.
