Technical information about this website's accessibility

Avon Dassett Parish Council is committed to making this website accessible in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018. www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2018/852/contents/made

This website is partially compliant with the web Content Accessibility Guidelines Version 2.1 due to the non-compliances listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

  • Many of our older PDF documents don’t meet accessibility standards. For example, they may not be marked up so they are accessible to a screen reader. However, all pdf documents can be downloaded to your local computer and the full requirements to meet accessibility standards can be provided by the use of Adobe Acrobat Reader software. This is freely available and can be downloaded by following the link: https://get2.adobe.com/uk/reader/
  • Any new PDFs we publish will meet accessibility standards - please see exception below
  • Annual Returns (on the Finance page) are required to be completed by hand and scanned. This will not result in an accessible PDF file. It is hoped in future that an alternative format will be available to be published.
