Data Protection New Regulations With Effect From May 2018
Data protection law will significantly change on 25 May 2018 when the 2016 EU Directive known as the General Data Protection Regulation "GDPR" takes effect.
The documents available below give the detail of the new regulations although it is unclear whether Avon Dassett Parish Council will be forced to comply.
In addition the Information Commissioners Office has issued a document Preparing for the General Data Protection Regulation(GDPR) 12 steps to take now and over the next 2 or 3 months we will considering what if anything needs to be done to ensure that we are compliant.
