Towards the end of each Financial Year Avon Dassett Parish Council carefully considers and agrees it's budget for the following financial year.

We have certain categories that we must support:

1. street lighting maintenance and electricity costs
2. insurance
3. mowing of the verges, cemetary and playground
4. our clerk's annual salary
5. the Reading Room
6. membership fees
7. audit fees

and these form the major proportion of our annual expenditure.

We also actively consider areas where we undertake work on behalf of other local authorities and wherever possible seek to recover our costs from them. This covers for example where we mow the verges in the village and these costs are recovered from Stratford on Avon District Council.
