Responsibilities:
Michele, my wife, and I have recently moved into the village having spent the previous 25 years living on the outskirts of London and working in the City. I retired about 10 years ago and we wanted to move to this area to be near to some of our relatives.
When we first visited the village we were immediately attracted by its beauty and simplicity – a vast change from what we had previously been used to. We are also very pleased to have been made so welcome in the village and we feel that this will be our home for many years to come.
My hobbies and interests include DIY, gardening and football. Whilst in London I took an active part in the London Borough of Ealing Allotments Forum. I have always tried to be active and I was a Class One football referee for many years officiating a semi-professional level.
I recently joined the Parish Council and I hope that I can make a contribution towards ensuring the village retains its beauty and charm. I will also try wherever possible to ensure that any money that is available is spent wisely and that any projects that are undertaken benefit as many of the villagers as possible and are sustainable in the future.
